The History of the BGD Gang

The Gangster Disciples (GD) is a gang that originated in Chicago, Illinois, in the 1960s. The group was originally formed to protect African-American neighborhoods from other gangs. As the GD gang grew in size and power, they began to engage in criminal activities such as drug trafficking, extortion, and robbery.
